In August of 2007, 16 year old Demi Cuccia, a cheerleader at Gateway
High School, was brutally murdered by her boyfriend for trying to end
their relationship. This unthinkable act rocked a community who thought
that something like this could never happen to them.
Were there warning signs?
Absolutely.
But, did we know them?
No.
Two out of every three teens will experience an abusive relationship.
Please
join Prime Stage Theater, Mrs. Jodi Cuccia and professional counselors
for a very meaningful evening of EVERYTHING IS FINE, a 45 minute play
designed to identify the warning signs of teen dating violence that can
help you save the life of a friend, loved one or even you.
This
must see play is written by and performed by teens. What better way to
understand teens than hearing and seeing their words in action.
This play is available during the month of October
for bookings in your school or community. More information will be
available on March 1st.
Proceeds from the production will support the Demi Cuccia Memorial Fund for continued awareness.

On September 17, 2011 Jodi
Cuccia and the Teen Board members who wrote the Everything
is
Fine script were interviewed live on KDKA's Johnna Pro's Radio
Program.

Jodi Cuccia discussed the warning signs for parents. Alex Zukoff discussed the importance of the script being written by teens to reach kids today, and Wayne Brinda talked about the importance of educating parent and teens and that Everything is Fine is not just a play, but a program where we educate the audience on where and how to seek help.

seriously and their voices were heard. Hannah Jo

day in Harrisburg helped to pass House Bill 2026, bringing the state of
PA closer to mandatory education in our schools on teen dating
