Prime Stage holds open auditions for each production. This is for all non-union Pittsburgh area performers, as Prime Stage is a non-equity company. Actors are paid a stipend

Auditions are open to all actors of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, and expressions. Performers with disabilities are encouraged to audition.
