CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL RULES AND GUIDELINES (pdf)

See Me for Who I AM – MAIN THEME THIS SEASON

Submissions for the Creative Arts Festival are based on our season and our theme of See Me For Who I Am.

  • THE SCARLET LETTER
  • THE OUTSIDERS
  • MOCKINGBIRD

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The focus of your creative arts piece should be around our theme of See Me for Who I Am. This WILL NOT be the title of your piece. It is meant to be the focus of your work. You take it from there.

All submissions must include a cover page with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Your school's name
  • The category that your submission falls into (Play, Short Story, Poem, Visual Art) and the grade that you are currently in (9, 10, 11 or 12)

Your contact information:

  • Your full mailing address
  • Your parent/guardian’s full name and their relationship to you (Father, Mother, Stepfather, etc.)
  • Your home phone number
  • Your cell phone number
  • An email address that we can use to contact you. This should be an e-mail address that you check daily.

- If you are submitting pieces to more than one category (Play, Short Story, Poem, Visual Art) each of your entries must have its own cover page.

- ALL of the above information must be included, for each entry, for your work to be eligible for the Creative Arts Festival contest.

Please see sample cover page and heading examples below:

Submissions will be judged based on two Grade Level Categories:
1) 9th and 10th grade
2) 11th and 12th grade

Send all submissions electronically to festival@primestage.com on or before March 23, 2020.

Criteria
  • All entries must have a title, centered at the top of the first page of your piece.
