Where are we located?
All public and student matinee performances will be produced at the New Hazlett Theater Center for Performing Arts, 6 Allegheny Square E. on Pittsburgh's North Side near the Pittsburgh Children's Museum.

Are the shows suitable to all ages?
All of our shows are appropriate for youth, adults, families, educators and theatre-goers. If you have any questions, you may call the Administration Office at 724-773-0700 or email the us at pst@primestage.com.

Do we have "Post-Show Discussions"?

For public performances
We have audience discussions with special guests on our Saturday opening night performances. Check the Events page to see what we have planned for you!.

For student matinee field trips
Our "talk-backs" are immediately follow all Student Matinee performances. The talk-backs last about 15 minutes. They provide students and teachers with an opportunity to ask the cast and crew questions about what they saw and felt during the play, about the literature on which the play is based, and about live theatre.
Our goal is to extend and deepen the theatrical experience.

The New Hazlett Center for Performing Arts can easily accommodate mobility-impaired patrons. You may pull up to the theatre and have direct access to the box office, lobby and theatre. Parking for those with disabilities is located in all parking garages within walking distance to the theatre. All vehicles using these spaces must display a disability sticker. Wheelchair seating in the theatre should be requested at the time of your ticket reservation.

How do I get tickets?

For individual, group, and flex plan memberships
For individual and flex plan memberships, you can order tickets online.

For group tickets (10 or more) can be made online or contact the New Hazlett Box Office Manager at nathan@newhazletttheater.org or call the box office at 412.320.4610.

For school field trips
For school field trips, please call our Education Box Office at 412-841-7353 or email studentmat@primestage.com.

Is parking available at Prime Stage?

On-street parking is available at no cost after 6:00 pm, Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday. Parking is available in the Allegheny Health Network garage for evening events and weekend matinees at no charge for theatre patrons only.

To find the garage:
- Drive past the theater and follow Allegheny Square East as if you were going back out onto East Commons. The Allegheny Health Network garage will be on your left.
- Parking in the garage is free. When you pull up to the gate state that you're attending Prime Stage at the New Hazlett

NOTE: The lot will close one hour after the show.

For various events, security is on site to direct you to available parking options. Parking for sporting events impact space available near the Theater. Please check your local listings to see if the Theater’s event conflicts with our local sports teams.

Is there a dress code at Prime Stage?
The only dress code at Prime Stage is to be comfortable while watching our performances. Select attire that feels appropriate to you and to our audiences. Shirt and shoes are required.
